Essence in a Relationship

I just finished reading this blog posted by a good friend of mine - The ethics of a conversation (great one buddy...). In summary, it's a mutual thing. Conversation is never a conversation when it's one way. That's...a lecture. So why is it do we have conversations? Just so we can exercise our mouth by talking? Just so we can come to a mutual agreement on something? Just so we can understand each other better?

Despite all the different reasons of why we have a conversation, there's one similarity here, which is...it's a 2-way thing. How does having a conversation (a decent conversation) helps in a relationship? How does 2 love birds talk? How should they talk? Is there a guideline?

Well, I don't know. U tell me if there is a guideline, coz as far as I'm concerned, there's not guideline. Communication is an essense to having a good relationship. Talking...is important. I've read in many articles that says, gals loveeeeee to talk, while guys...they just find talking (guys, what is talking to u?).

Why is communcation important in a relationship? This is becoz it's for us to understand each others' needs better. It's for us to learn what the other party is thinking; if she's happy? if she's sad? if she's...angry, unsatisfied...and this work both ways. (It's not just 'she'...there's also a 'he'). However, many couples don't talk. They keep everything to themselves, and bottle up until it explodes. Not good. Once the explosion happens, it's like...creating a mustard bomb, spearding it across the continent...and it's just nasty.

It's an essense to talk. However, at the end of the day...what's most important is to love the person for who they are. Some ppl believe in changing for someone. I, however oppose to that. I believe that we are made this way, and there is that someone who would love us for who we are...for our goods and out bads. There is no need to pretend or to change for that person...now...THAT'S what I call the right love.
